Lunch. Afternoon tour of the Moscow metro. Dinner. | | | Day 4 | Breakfast. Trip to Kolomenskoye, the former Tsars' summer residence, which is on the UNESCO heritage. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station. Departure to Simferopol (it takes 17 hours to get to Simferopol). Dinner in the train. | | | Day 5 | Arrival in Simferopol. Breakfast. Transfer to Yalta (about 80 km away from) Check-in. Time at leisure. Dinner. | | | Day 6 | Breakfast. Tour of the Great Livadia Palace. Built for the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II in 1911, this Italian-styled summer residence is also known as the seat of the historic Yalta conference called by the Allies in February 1945 to outline post-war Europe's conformation. Lunch in the Tsar's Cuisine restaurant, which is a replica of the room in the Frederick's Palace in Yalta. A walk back to the hotel along the Tsar's promenade pathway. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner. | | | Day 7 | Breakfast. Trip to the suburban settlement of Massandra. The tour of the palace built in 1884 for the Russian Emperor Alexander III. Known as Alexander's 'hunter's lodge', the palace houses a remarkable collection of paintings and objects of fine arts. Because of its unique wine collection the palace is known as the Alma Mater of Russia's winemaking. In the Soviet times the palace was used as dacha (Russian for 'summer cottage'), where the Soviet leaders used to stay. Lunch. Visits to the palaces owned by the Yusupovs and the Grand Prince Peter Romanov. Dinner. | | | Day 8 | Breakfast. Time at leisure. Transfer to the railway station. Departure to Kiev. Dinner in the train. |
| | Day.9 | Breakfast in the train. Arrival in Kiev (at around 10:00). Transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Sightseeing tour of Kiev, including the St.Sophia's Cathedral. Lunch. The afternoon tour of the open air museum of the wooden architecture in. Dinner. |
| | Day.10 | Breakfast. The tour of the Kievo-Petchersky Monastery. Founded in 1051, it is one of the main sacred places of the Orthodox Church. Lunch. A walk along Kreschatik, the main city's thoroughfare. The rest of the day at leisure. Dinner. |
