Russians are having 10 days off for the New Year's holidays

The winter holidays in the beginning of the new year of 2013 are going to last from 1 to 8 January. But in fact, adding the weekend, the Russians are going to have 10 days off in a row, because the 'red day' is moved from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st.

In November the day off for 4 November (Day of People's Unity) will be moved to Monday, so days off will be from 3 to 5 November.
