This restaurant has a bit strange but easily explainable name though. It is located on the Moika river, only a 5-minute walk from the Hermitage, in the former palace of a Russian noble man. Finished in 1914, shortly before the World War I broke out, the palace, for good reasons coming from Russia's history after the war, is the last palace built in St.Petersburg. The restaurant has two splendidly decorated halls with high ceilings and a great view of the mansions on the opposite bank of the river. It is a very convenient place for not only dining big tourist groups but for holding seminars and conference as well. The food and service are excellent and good value for the money.
