Located nearby the city's oldest park in a historical building on the Fontanka river, this is a stylish restaurant named after a local noble family. The cosy setting of the delicately illuminated rooms carries you back to the atmosphere of a rich 19-th century mansion. Of special attraction is the Boyarsky Hall designed in the old Russian style, a perfect place for a small banquet.

Demidov serves classic Russian dishes made according to the ancient recipes, such as wood grouse fried on charcoal, a whole baked pheasant or eels smoked on the black alder tree. Good value for money.
