It is a former canteen of the Academy of Sciences, turned into a spacious restaurant. It is surrounded by historical buildings occupied mostly by the University of St.Petersburg.

The restaurant is next to the Strelka (the Spit) of Vasilievsky Island where from you may admire the magnificent view of the Winter Palace, St.Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty and St.Isaac's Cathedral.
