Built in 1993, this hotel is located on a small island once granted by Peter the Great to a mill owner Matisov for his great services during the Northern War between Russia and Sweden (1700-1721). The hotel is a double prize-winner of the contest 'The Best Program of the Hotel's Services Development in St. Petersburg'.
