This centrally located hotel is one of the oldest and largest hotels in St. Petersburg. It occupies two buildings: the main building, or Oktiabrskaya-I (built in 1847), and the building of the former hotel Moskovskaya, or Oktiabrskaya-II. Both buildings are off Nevsky prospect, the main thoroughfare of St. Petersburg. The Moscow railway station and the metro station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya" are just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. - Total number of rooms: 373 (147 single rooms, 159 twin-bedded and double rooms with king size beds, 6 deluxe, 57 semi-deluxe and 4 suites);
