Archangelskoye
Formerly (from 1703 till 1810) the estate of the counts Golitsyn and the Yusupov family (from 1810 till 1917), Archangelskoye in 1918 became a museum-estate, noted for the original 18th-19th structures and the 18th century symmetrically designed park.
The art collection displayed in the classical palace includes West European and Russian paintings from the 17th and 19th centuries, bronze, porcelain, and ceramic articles from the 18th and 19th centuries by the world's leading producers. Among noted park structures are the 'Caprice' palace, and the theatre, known for the original stage scenery by Pietro Gonzaga.
