The hotel is located on the Karelian Isthmus in a small village of Repino, a popular resort on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. Among Russian celebrities of the past who used to spend their holidays in Repino and the nearby area were the Noble prize-winner physiologist Pavlov, the composer Glazunov, the world-famous singer Fyodor Shalapin, the writer Maxim Gorkiy and many others. The British writers Oscar Wilde, Herbert Wells and Arthur Conan Doyle had occasions to visit this place too.
